2022 Intensive Blocks
These are the intensive dates that we will have available at Spark in 2022. The blue dates indicate school holidays and the black dates are during the school terms.
Important Information
How do I book an intensive for 2022?
Existing clients will receive an email on 6th September with an electronic preference form. On this form you will be asked to select specific intensive blocks to indicate which blocks you'd like to book for 2022 for your child. It is important to remember that these are just preferences and we cannot guarantee that we can meet these preferences exactly. To make our planning process as fair as possible to all families, we gather all the preferences and then organise intensive offers for 2022. Our intensive offers will be sent throughout November.

Help! I don't know how many intensives my child needs!
If you have any questions regarding how many intensives you should be putting down in your preference form for your child, please contact your treating therapist via email at sparkpaediatric@gmail.com or have a chat to them during your child's next treatment session here at the clinic and they can help!
My child needs school holiday intensives, is that possible?
As you can imagine, school holidays are our most popular intensive dates and we only have limited spots available throughout the year. It is important to know that we will not be offering more than 2 school holiday intensives to any child due to high demand and we cannot guarantee that we have the space to offer each child a school holiday block. Once we have everyone's preference forms returned we will have an accurate idea of how many families are looking for school holiday intensives and can then determine what we can offer each family.
To maximise your chances of being offered the full number of blocks you'd like in 2022, make sure to include preferences outside of the school holidays as well. Whilst we understand missing school time is important to keep at a minimum, we have limited places and must be fair across all our families.

It is also important to note that we will not be offering school holiday intensive blocks to children who are not school age.
Can I book a shorter intensive (e.g. 1 or 2 weeks rather than 3 weeks)?
Yes, we will be offering shorter intensive blocks to those families who need them. When the preference forms are released, please indicate the length of intensive you'd prefer and we will do our best to accommodate those changes.
Can I book an afternoon intensive during the school term?
Yes, although we don't have these times listed on our 2022 calendar, we are able to make exceptions for early afternoon or short after school intensive blocks for a limited number of families. As you can imagine, our after school appointments are very popular so we only have limited capacity for intensives during these time slots. If you would like to be considered for these spots, please indicate this on your preference form.
